The Singphoniker belong to the small circle of the few globally active and distinctive vocal ensembles - and have done so for over 40 years. They are masters of an enormous repertoire from the Renaissance to the present day - whether it be popular or serious music, secular or sacred. In their concerts, the Singphoniker combine different musical styles into an exciting new unit, always sung with stylistic confidence and without ever becoming arbitrary. They have been setting standards in the German vocal scene for decades with the breadth of their work.
In recent years, the Singphoniker have been regular guests at major concert series and festivals in Germany, Europe, Asia and America. Numerous prizes and almost 40 award-winning CD recordings document the ensemble's special quality, stylistic diversity and artistic flexibility.
The Singphoniker succeed in lending weight to the light and presenting the heavy with ease. Their unique ensemble sound is warm, finely balanced and powerful. From the deepest darkness to the most radiant light, all facets of the male voice merge into a homogeneous whole. Their joy and dedication to the music is transferred directly to their audience: a musical maelstrom that touches and captivates.
