Course description

Bachata is a dance originating from the Dominican Republic, it is an easy dance to learn, it is fun and romantic.

Traditional bachata is popular and very cheerful, it is practiced by friends, family, lovers, it is a dance of sharing and reunion.

Modern bachata is sophisticated, with a romantic character and sensuality.

The style that you will perform will transmit passion dance par excellence, or fun: it will depend on the character you want to give it, and on your musical listening.

The character of the dance is obtained by a movement of the body and the hip which retains a similarity with certain African and Caribbean dances.

The expansion of tourism in the Dominican Republic has given bachata international popularity.

Very present during Latin parties, it is essential.

During the lessons we will learn the three ways of dancing Bachata:

Dominican Bachata;
