Shauli Einav and Christophe Girard first met in Paris, where they discovered a shared background of growing up close to nature. Both of them grew up in the countryside in Israel and Burgundy (France). This connection quickly led to a strong musical partnership, blending their folk influences with extensive experience in jazz and classical music. Since before the Covid pandemic, Shauli has been living in Luxembourg, where he’s reconnected with nature after years in cities like New York and Paris. Similarly, Christophe, after many years in Paris, returned to his roots in rural Burgundy. Though both perform around the world, they always appreciate returning to the quiet of these landscapes. This shared sense of serenity is amplified when they play together, as if they see the world through the same lens. Shauli and Christophe will be joined especially for this performance by Ella Zirina a jazz guitarist and composer from Latvia, with a passion for exploring the depths of her instrument. Her trademark is melodic improvisations, which gives her music striking personal and emotional quality. After studying piano until the age of 17, Ella switched to guitar studies, channeling her broad musical influences.
