After studying English and training as an actor, Séverine Magois turned to drama translation and joined the Maison Antoine Vitez (https://www.maisonantoinevitez.com/) in 1992. Since 1995, she has been translating and representing in France the work of Daniel Keene (Théâtrales) and the children's plays of Mike Kenny (Actes Sud). She also translated many other authors, mainly contemporary, both for the stage and for publication. Her work has won several awards (Molière, JLAT prize, SACD prize, Godot prize).
