As one of Luxembourg’s premier folk music artists, Authentica will present her debut album with a special release concert on 25th February 2025 at Unison Studios, .followed by a post-concert celebration. Authentica introduces Luxembourg’s folk music to global audiences, weaving traditional melodies and legends into an energetic folk fusion mix, with a blend of Celtic vibes and the Latin-Mediterranean joy of life.
Multi-talented musician and producer Martina Menichetti, the creative leader of Authentica, will bring her creations to life in this concert with four exceptional musicians, forming a dynamic five-piece band, complemented by engaging storytelling.
The album was recorded at Studio Trad. in collaboration with award-winning sound engineer and powerhouse guitarist Jeroen Geerinck (Snaarmaarwaar, Hot Griselda, Geronimo, …), and promises to captivate with vibrant modern arrangements.
Authentica is supported by the Fonds stART-UP of the Œuvre Nationale de Secours Grande-Duchesse Charlotte and has performed on stages such as Celtic Connections in Glasgow, the Philharmonie Luxembourg, TEDx, and Zeltik Celebration. The two singles, “Call of the Night” and “Sources of Joy,” are available now on all streaming platforms and invite you to dive into Authentica’s rich musical world.
