Dance Theatre Masterclass

with Afra Crudo

Each participant will use his/her "Thinking Body" and "Dancing Mind" 

the “Theater-Dance” workshop is open to everybody, with or without experience.

We use an original method that takes inspiration from Pina Bausch's Tanz Theater, modern and contemporary dance and the work of Jerzy Grotowski's on "physical actions." Participants will play with gesture, movement, voice, interaction, looking for meaningful and playful sequences, in connection to each-other, in an agreeable and joyful setting, the aim being to share an intense experience of personal development, creativity and well-being.

The Masterclass will be conducted by Afra Crudo:

"A first part will be dedicated to learning the typical movements of Pina Bausch's Tanztheater, movements that will need to be connected with the music, with the possibility of also constructing a choreography. The second part, instead, will focus on personal expression, where each participant is invited to present either an improvisation or a pre-constructed piece. They should bring along any materials that might be useful, such as a text, a song, music, clothing, costumes, or wigs"
