Escher Fuesent
The city of Esch-sur-Alzette lights up with festivities to celebrate its traditional Carnival. Orchestrated by the Syndicat d'Initiative, the Escher Fuesend Weekend will immerse the city in a carnival atmosphere.
A program and entertainment for all tastes
The festivities start on Thursday, March 13 on the main square of the Hôtel de Ville under a heated tent at 8:00 p.m. with a Comedy Show by Daniel Moutinho, Camille Lorente, moderated by Shayan Mehr. The price of pre-sale of tickets will be €12 , pricing on the evening itself will be €15. Both can be purchased via the Site www.fuesent.lu.
On Friday, March 14, on the main square of the Hôtel de Ville under a heated tent at 9:00 p.m. and until 3:00 a.m. festivities continue with a Sambatucada evening (Carnival Em Esch), together with DJs and bands Pingusso, Chu, Bruno Walker, Grupo Di Bahia, MC Stephano and MC Bolicao. Free entry.
On Saturday, March 15, the heated tent will first be reserved for young Carnival fans with the traditional Kannerfuesbal, with DJ Hofmeister and his Mascot. Entrance fee: €3
At 9:00 p.m., it's time for the Electronic Karnival until 3:00 a.m. The pre-sale of tickets will be €10 and the entry fee on the evening itself will be €15. The purchase can be made using the Site Fuesent.lu. The show will be scored by DJs Miss Sappho, Kevin Blaze - Kevin Rocha, G.I. Sa, Double Vibe and Blueteck. The dance floor will be animated by the Special Guest's Mike Williams and Lunax.
Finally, on Sunday, March 16, the streets of Esch-sur-Alzette will vibrate to the rhythm of the Escher Cavalcade, parading through the heart of the city with free entry. More than 67 associations will be part of the procession, as walking groups, floats and music from countries such as Luxembourg, Belgium, France and Germany. 25.000 to 30.000 visitors are expected. More than 3.000 Verwuerelter (Carnival knots), 2.500 beignets, Gadgets, Sweets, Popcorn, and Chips will be distributed along the 5-kilometer route that begins
in rue Victor Hugo with an arrival in rue de l’Alzette on the large square of the Hôtel de Ville
The conclusion of the Escher Fues Weekend will be marked by an electric atmosphere on the large square of the Hôtel de Ville under a heated tent, hosted by DJ AL in collaboration with special guest Dorfrocker! as well as the exciting performances of Andy Bar and Dj Blueteck
