Soon, harmonious little voices will be heard in the streets: 'Léiwer Härgottsblieschen, gëff ons Speck an Ierbessen…', as 'Liichtmëssdag' (= Candlemas Day) is just around the corner. Although this traditional song has remained almost unchanged to this day, the 'Liichtebengelchen' has evolved over time: today, it is often accompanied by a colorful lantern.

Children aged 6 to 12 can make such a lantern during a creative workshop at the « A Possen » Museum on Saturday, January 25. With the help of our mediator, the children will cut and glue colored paper so that by the end of the afternoon, each child will have their own lantern to take home. This ensures that nothing will stand in the way of a successful 'Liichtmëssdag'!
