In collaboration with ASTI and Onsheemecht.

Inspired by the Dis-Placed exhibition and guided by the question, “What sounds would you choose to illustrate your family’s migration journey?”, young Luxembourg residents and newcomers forged connections by exploring their families’ migration stories through music. In collaboration with musician and composer Eric G. Foy, they created a unique soundtrack, blending their personal narratives and reflecting the sonic identity of a young Luxembourgish generation.

In collaboration with SINGA, and the schools LNB, LGK, EIDE, Lycée B-Val, and individual visitors.

Lobo EL & Cotchei are two rapper-investigators who hosted writing workshops and “rapped” tours at the Konschthal in October 2024. Over a week, they immersed themselves in the Dis-Placed exhibition: writing about the artworks, recording testimonies, and encouraging participants to write about the paintings. Using this material, they crafted a podcast that beautifully summarizes the dialogue between the Dis-Placed exhibition and their artistic expression. A blend of poetry, participatory workshops, and reflection.

By Alexandra Lichtenberger.

In collaboration with BrillSchoul primary school, EIDE secondary school, and individual children.

Tracing our personal stories around the notions of "home," "losing one’s home," and imagining a realistic or utopian home in the near or distant future. Through a workshop held during the Dis-Placed exhibition, participants delved into their experiences, infused with nostalgia, joy, loss, success, anxiety, dreams, and hope, to create a visual narrative in the form of a house-hat, echoing the expression “losing the roof over one’s head.” Through art, they transformed their memories into creative material, helping them process and move forward while visualizing their future dreams.
