The forest of the future

Where? 1, Ellergronn, L-4114 Esch-sur-Alzette Other

How will climate change alter our forests?

Our environment is changing, with more frequent weather extremes, rising temperatures and longer droughts, and this is having a major impact on our biodiversity and forests in particular. Tree species in the forests of the Minett are threatened because they cannot cope with the new weather conditions.

The event “Den Zukunftsbësch” will focus on measures to protect and preserve the forest and sustainable tree species. During a two-hour hike in the Ellergronn forest, we will learn about endangered tree species and possible tree species of the future.

Sturdy shoes and appropriate clothing are required.
