Familiarising yourself with contemporary art or deepening your knowledge - this is possible through the explanation of some emblematic works of the Supports/Surfaces movement. The contrast between man and nature fascinates some artists and leads them to repeat and merge two antagonistic materials. This group of friends questions the legitimacy of the image and the meaning of the object, confronting the Nouveaux Réalismes and a certain death of painting. They invite visitors to free themselves from dogmatic rigour (represent, narrate, evoke) through simple forms: "Our work does not demonstrate, it shows". Supports/Surfaces desecrates the artwork and does not conceal any creative process.
