Nature and herbal experience at Palmberg
Join our tour guide Jutta Kanstein on an exciting hike and collect edible wild herbs under expert guidance for later common preparation.
The hike begins in the picturesque winegrowing village of Ahn and leads through the Palmberg nature reserve. This mountain gets its name from the unique presence of boxwood (Buxus sempervirens) along the Luxembourg Moselle, where it grows up to 8 meters tall in some areas.
From daisies and ribwort plantain to vineyard chives, you will learn a lot about the uses of these wild herbs. Along the way, you will enjoy a small refreshment at a scenic viewpoint before the collected herbs are prepared into a delicious snack.
