Visit to the rose garden and the garden of the Grand-Château d'Ansembourg

Where? Grand-Château d'Ansembourg, Rue de la Vallee Schloss Ansemburg Helperknapp

Château d'Ansembourg was built in the first half of the 17th century by Thomas Bidard, a pioneer of the iron and steel industry. In the 18th century, the château underwent a significant transformation when Thomas Bidard's heirs were elevated to the rank of baron in 1728, and then to that of count. The gardens were laid out in 1750, with statues, staircases and decorative fountains in the garden style of the period.
