Domaine Thill Château de Schengen

Located in the picturesque village of Schengen, Domaine Thill was originally a traditional family-run business, founded over 80 years ago.

Now run by Caves Bernard-Massard, the estate has retained its authenticity, closely linked to the terroirs of the Schengen area. A large part of the estate's vineyards were acquired after the 2nd World War from the former owners of Château de Schengen. In their memory, the original label featuring a drawing by Victor Hugo, the Château's guest, has been preserved. Only the best wines from the estate are sold under his name. Traditionally, Schengen was best known for its great Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc from the "Markusberg". Thanks to the expansion of the vineyard to include more limestone soils, the estate now also produces top-quality Rieslings.

You can find Domaine Thill Château de Schengen wines in the wine library and for tasting at the Bernard-Massard cellars in Grevenmacher.
