A 2000 m2 multimedia space with:

  • a 360° cinema with an immersive film on Europe projected continuously;
  • multiple multimedia stations and an augmented reality station to discover the European Union in a new way;
  • a role-play game area where you can step into the shoes of an MEP for a few hours (reservation required).

Practical information

  • Accessible to all: The experience is accessible for visitors with limited mobility. Content is available in all 24 official languages of the EU, subtitles are also provided. The media stations are equipped for portable induction loops and personal headphones. Audio description is also available in the cinema. A tactile exhibition plan is provided. For special assistance, contact us or talk to a member of staff.

Museum-Memorial of Deportation
During the German occupation (from 1942 to 1944) the former railwaystation of Hollerich was the point of departure of numerous young people forcefully enroled in the German army and of 4000 people that were forcefully “resettled” in Eastern parts of Germany for political reasons, loosing all their belongings in Luxembourg.
