Chapel Kuelebierg - Hidden Treasure

Where? 18, Kuelebierg, 8522 Beckerich

The canton of Redange has many hidden and partly unknown places that, according to our citizens, are definitely worth a visit.

"My hidden treasure is the small medieval chapel on the Kuelebierg in Beckerich. It is tucked away in the forest, making it a place where one can enjoy the tranquility of nature. If you’re lucky and the chapel door is open, you can see the candlelight of the altar shining from afar through the darkness. Especially in summer, you can watch a beautiful sunset along the path by the meadows. Another highlight, however, is the chapel in the June nights, as the entire forest sparkles with fireflies, making you feel like you're in a fairy tale.

The chapel offers a cool respite on a warm summer day. But even the bench in front of the building invites you to rest after a strenuous hike with the dogs and listen to the songs of the birds."
