Description
Cycle path du Nord: Troisvierges-Huldange (PC 21) starts in Troisvierges and enters Belgian territory near the "Schmëtt".
This section of the "Vennbahn" is located between Troisvierges (L) and Lengeler (B) and was built between 2012 and 2013. This Interreg IVA project "Vennbahn" supports the construction of a cycle route connecting Aachen via Raeren, Monschau, Waimes, St. Vith and Burg-Reuland with Troisvierges on the route of the former "Vennbahn" railway. It crosses three countries and has a total length of 125 km, of which 7 km is on the territory of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. On the Luxembourg side, the development of the "Vennbahn" between Troisvierges and Lengeler (B) was carried out in two phases, namely phase 1 between Troisvierges and Goedange, which is 4.2 km long, and phase 2 between Goedange and the Belgian border, which is 2.8 km long and includes the 800 m long Huldange/Lengeler border tunnel.
