Description
Discover the region around Bettembourg on the Cycle path François Faber (PC 10)
The François Faber cycle path begins in the center of Leudelange at the crossroads “rue de Cessange” (CR179)/ “rue du Lavoir” (CR163). It follows towards the South crossing the “Rue d’Esch” (N4) to pass over the Esch motorway (A4).
It enters the woods behind the “Sidor” incineration plant and crosses the “Beetebuergerbësch” on a dirt road (forest path). After getting closer to the CR163, it continues on an asphalt section to turn right at the exit of the forest. It goes up towards Abweiler crossing the CR163 before entering Abweiler. The track crosses Abweiler and turns left in a southerly direction at the next intersection.
After the "Ierzebierg", the track descends towards Fennage and reaches the N13. You must then turn right and continue for a hundred meters to enter a local road. The PC10 runs along the Alzette river and crosses the Bettembourg-Kayl railway line via a level crossing. Finally, the track joins the PC6 “Three Cantons cycle path”. On some parts of the route, the PC10 approaches the municipal track of Bettembourg.
