An encounter with the photographic artist Neckel Scholtus

As part of the "miMO - Luxembourg Miniature Contemporary Art Exhibition", the "A Possen" museum invites you to plunge into the fascinating world of artist photographer Neckel Scholtus. Through her photographic work, Neckel Scholtus explores themes of everyday life, as well as the duality of her childhood memories, rooted in the family farm. Her work reflects the impact of this environment on her perception of the world, revealing the complexity of memories and emotions associated with these contrasting moments.

Neckel Scholtus, born in 1982, lives and works in Luxembourg. As a photographic artist, she studied Fine Arts at the University of Montpellier and obtained a master's degree in photography at the University of Paris VIII. Her artistic work often engages the public, and she offers residencies while working freelance in cultural structures. Since 2010, recognised as an independent artist in Luxembourg, Neckel Scholtus has developed a productive career in photography, exhibiting her work not only in Luxembourg, but also in France, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Bulgaria, Italy, Côte d'Ivoire and China.
