Exposition miMO

Discover miMO, an exhibition of contemporary miniature art from Luxembourg! The ‘A Possen’ Museum is delighted to welcome the Musel Link a.s.b.l. association and its project to create small-scale art. This exhibition plunges you into a world where 8 Luxembourg artists push back the limits of creativity on a reduced scale. Artists from different generations, expressing themselves in a variety of visual art media, with just one constraint: the size of the works must fit in the palm of your hand! From 16 July to 29 September 2024, you can explore two-dimensional works no larger than 7.5x10cm and three-dimensional pieces limited to 10x10x10cm. A miniature can conceal a MOnumental work, hence the miMO name for this project: miniature MOnumentale or miniature MOselle.

Each creation, whatever its size, offers an intimate and precious experience, revealing monumental grandeur in every detail. Don't miss this unique artistic immersion!

Musel Link a.s.b.l., founded by art professionals in 2015, aims to establish contemporary art as a sustainable part of the cultural landscape in the Moselle region. By setting up the miMO project, Musel Link is seeking to give new impetus to international artistic communication. miMO says it all: every miniature contains the monumental aspect and vice versa.

Active on the national and international cultural scenes since 2016, the association has staged major exhibitions in regional museums in Luxembourg, at Neumünster Abbey, in Stockholm, Berlin, Los Angeles, etc.
