Discover the cultural heritage during the European Cultural Days 2024 with our intergenerational workshop "Roads, networks and connections - On the trail of Moselle vines in Transylvania"!
The RoKultur association and the "A Possen" museum, in collaboration with the Astra Museum in Sibiu, offer you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the fascinating history of the Moselle region and Romania through traditional embroidery art. You can turn back time and learn how the Moselle migrants put down roots in Transylvania almost 800 years ago, taking with them not only their way of life but also their precious vines...
Join us on a unique cultural adventure where Romanian embroiderers living in Luxembourg will share their skills with you. You will choose your own embroidery design from a selection of motifs centred on vines and grapes and create your own masterpiece! At the end of the workshop, you will take your project home to continue it there and keep a precious memory of this unforgettable experience.
