The « Association to promote rural tourism in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg“:

• is the only association body to administer the title as an “accommodation of rural tourism”.
• is a member for the national board for tourism (Luxembourg for Tourism LfT).
• is a liaison for the active local partners in the field of tourism (local tourist offices as well as other local tourist organisations).
• is the Luxembourgish member of the European Federation of Rural Tourism (RURALTOUR - www.ruraltour.eu).
• the key contact for … and the representation of … the owners of holidays homes in Luxembourg.
• the only association promoting under their “APTR” label and acting a official classification of rural holiday homes in cooperation with the ministry for 30 years in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

For tourists, the APTR offers

• a repertory of their extensive offer of holiday homes and group accommodations to be found under www.gites.lu and www.agritourisme.lu
• a reliable classification of established criteria for rural holiday homes in 1 to 4 categories of quality (ears).

If tourists choose a holiday home classified by … and member of the APTR association they can be sure that the high quality offered complies with local legal standards and regulations in size of the accommodation, lightning of the rooms, sanitary equipment etc. specified under the label the “Rooster” in the national colors.

The owners for holiday homes will also comply with standards with regard to hospitality and service such as

• a personal welcome with all relevant information of the accommodation and the local tourist offer as well as guidance for the stay.
• a offer of special historic rural historic buildings and/or classified “Supplementary inventory of Luxembourg Sites and Monuments” holiday homes with usually limited access to a small number of guests.

With the APTR the visitor’s and tourists will be sure to get a personalised service and carefree stay with regards to:

En tant que nouveau membre, au cas où vous optez pour une adhésion, vous bénéficiez pour une cotisation, fixée pour 2020 à 50,- Euro, de toute une panoplie de services, d’une association qui défend au mieux de ses moyens vos intérêts dans le secteur de niche de cet hébergement touristique et qui par-dessus «Vous» représente au niveau national et international.

L’APTR vous offre entre-autre :

• le service gratuit d’un Photographe professionnel qui, si vous le désirez, passe chez Vous pour prendre des photos qui seront mises à votre disposition pour accroître votre visibilité et donner un aperçu de votre/vos logements.
• d’un nouveau site Internet www.gites.lu de l’APTR, qui offre un état actualisé et opérationnel des gîtes de l’association.
• d’une publication supplémentaire de vos données sous un domaine additionnel – www.agritourisme.lu ainsi qu’une représentation auprès de «Eurogîtes» et bien d’autres.
• d’un classement (1 à 4 épis) qui sera en mesure de guider les touristes vers des hébergements catégorisés qualitativement avec un appui du Ministère de l’Economie/Direction du Tourisme.

Afin d’optimiser votre visibilité pour les touristes nous mettons à votre disposition une plaquette en aluminium au logo de l’APTR (coût 25,- Euro) qui s’apprête idéalement à être apposée en façade du bâtiment qui abrite les logements pour touristes. Cette plaquette «identifie» nos membres.

Lors du classement prévu pour votre/vos logements, deux membres du comité de l’APTR accompagnés de deux représentants du Ministère/Direction du Tourisme et du Ministère de l’Agriculture, vont décider de la catégorie de votre/vos logements. Cette appréciation sera valable alors pour une période de quatre années. Au cours de cette durée nous restons évidemment à votre disposition pour conseils et avis et sommes déterminés à bien défendre les intérêts des membres APTR auprès du Ministère de l’Economie/Dir. Tourisme.

Soucieux d’offrir le meilleur service et une coopération optimale au sein de notre Association nous vous invitons à nous faire part de suggestions et avis quant au développement du tourisme «gîte» au Luxembourg. Nous favorisons également une relation et coopération active entre nos membres APTR de manière à faire bénéficier d’autres membres de notre association le cas échéant d’une «indisponibilité» de séjour dans votre établissement.
