Notre-Dame de Lorette Chapel

A Gem of Clervaux's Spiritual Heritage

The architecture of the Notre-Dame de Lorette Chapel is a remarkable example of Baroque style. Its façade displays refined details and decorations that reflect the craftsmanship of the period. Inside, visitors will discover a rich collection of religious artworks, paintings, and sculptures that highlight the spiritual significance of the site.

Perched on the heights above Clervaux, the chapel is set in a peaceful environment that invites contemplation and inner reflection. It is not only an architectural masterpiece but also a place of deep spirituality and cultural memory.

To fully discover the richness of this emblematic site, guided tours are offered every first Monday of the month from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM, led by Marie-Justine Thinnes, an expert in religious heritage.

The tour begins at the Tourist Center Clervaux. Along the way to the chapel, you’ll learn about the surrounding religious buildings, the Rock of Saint Hubert, the Hermitage, and the historical ties between the Lannoy family and Clervaux.

This afternoon visit perfectly complements the morning guided tour of the Abbey Church of Saint Maurice – an ideal opportunity for heritage enthusiasts to spend a full day discovering Clervaux’s spiritual treasures.
